twenty-seven.

this number seems to be pretty prominent in my life. i just thought i'd mention that.

so yesterday, mom and i did some bargain shopping. i.e. we went to Target and Wal-mart. i got inordinate amounts of cat food and other household-y things, and after searching for pieces of my birthday present that mom offered to get me to no avail, i went home and ordered them. my birthday present looks like this:

yoga mat and yoga/pilates DVDs! the mat doesnt look anything like this, but yes. i got a yoga mat and some yoga blocks so i can finally do yoga at home and not trek or pay lots of money to do it. i'm stoked. i also got these boots from ae.com because i couldnt find any in any stores, lame.

i rather like them, and hope they're just as great when i get them.

last night we had a Night at the Square Table, as i've decided to dub the evenings my friends and i spend at the kitchen table hanging out with my parents. supposed to do brunch with meg and ian this morning, but ian was sick and that fell through. shortly, a friend of mine from high school who i havent hung out with since, ohidunno, sophomore year, is picking me up to go grab a drink. even though we havent hung out in FOREVER, or really barely spoken honestly, i think we're both so different at this point we'll have plenty to talk about. and we used to have so much fun together. she's a great gal, but i guess she thought in high school (post-sophomore year) she was a dick to me and sent me this cute apology message on facebok awhile back. i responded saying she was nothing of the sort, and i'd love to hang with her again sometime when we're both in albany. well, she sent me a message last night if i wanted to hang tonite, and now we're going to. lovely story right? i should tell it more often, maybe at parties.
