distance makes the heart
grow heavy. ::le sigh::
i don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many people i miss TERRIBLY, heart-wrenchingly, painfully, on a daily basis. Warped Tour was probably the best and worst thing i ever did: i met some of the most amazing people that i'm now blessed to call friends and family, but now i have to live every day without them.
i guess that's the cool thing about music, i can feeling connected to them just by throwing on my headphones or listening to my iTunes (or lurking MySpace...haha)
it's so weird to feel like i have a life plan right now. like, without an actual plan before, anything was possible and there was no real room for disappointment. now it's like, i know exactly what i want, and i MUST get it because if i don't get it, it will feel like an epic loss.
a gun metal gray certified pre-owned Honda Element. i don't really care what year it is, just don't want it to have too many miles on it 'cause i'm gonna drive it x-country.
SPEAKING of getting a car, one has to have money to do such a thing, right? WELL, hopefully by next week i'll be one of those people who actually has a job by which to EARN money. woo hoo! interview yesterday for a tiny leather boutique (meh...) called Veda down on the LES. looks boring as sin, but hey...i need a job. badly. BUT! i also have an interview/meeting with the store manager of Brooklyn Industries Soho tomorrow. when i went to their open house a couple weeks ago (ish), my interviewer apparently loved me so much that she wanted to immediately steal me for her store- the open house was to hire people for the new location opening in Grand Central. ANYWAY, stopped in yesterday and she, Christine, was there and asked me to come in to meet her store manager, as she had already talked me up to him and the DM and gotten the green-light to steal me away from GCT for that location. whee! SO, here's hoping tomorrow ends with "here, have a job." weirdest thing about Warped Tour is that it rekindled my interest in fashion and actually makes me hate clothing retail a little bit less...maybe i really AM a merch girl at heart?
*i spent some time looking around the store at the new line- I GOT SO EXCITED! gosh, i love that company.

- graduate from FIT. FINALLY. FOR THE LAST TIME. EVER.
- celebrate multiple graduations (mine, sister's, mom's, emily's, brother's) in Mexico. ole!
- move to LA, with or without sully (though i hope she joins me at some point).
- WARPED TOUR 16! i definitely need to find a job for this year, no doubt.
- continue touring or otherwise find a job.
