monday isn't so bad if you give it a chance.
here is how i spent my day off, in pictures.
part one of half-price happy hour- spinach & artichoke dip and veggie nachos. omgsodelicious.
followed by part deux of half-price happy hour- banana split sundae. we made some serious love to this thing, and finished it in record time. our waiter even commented on how fast it was gone, to which we replied "...we might not be done yet." we decided to opt out of a second sundae though, as we were all superduper full about 10 minutes later.
april may or may not be/love Aunt Jemima. may...or may not.
chas decided to hide behind the giant menu. that's cool i guess.
"will you be my butt valentine?" what does that even mean? none of us were entirely sure, but we were entirely sure about one thing: pictures needed to be taken.
she claims she looks terrible in hats, but it turns out she's lying.
sometimes we go to party stores and find bulk party favors, like cats. cats in bulk? sure, why not.
and SOMETIMES we go to party stores and dress up as leprechauns...
yes. sometimes we (re: they) do this.
these adventures were followed by a jaunt to Whole Foods, a couple drug stores on a lipstick quest, and then home, where i am now, and should be continuing my US history studies but instead i'm blogging. however, i'm done now so i guess i'll study...i AM on the Dean's List after all***
***true story: i just got a piece of mail from my college saying i'm on the Dean's List for my GPA in spring/fall 09: 3.65. upon receipt of this news, i laughed long and loud, as i was surely convinced my GPA had dropped significantly due to my pathetic efforts made last semester (senioritis usually hits me pretty early). this just goes to prove my theory that the less i try, the better things work out. i always thought this applied to how i look when i leave the house, but apparently it applies to my academic standing as well. ha! how 'bout them apples.
